Lucy Yu


Lucy leads public policy at FiveAI, a UK technology company building self-driving vehicles to operate its own passenger transport services in cities, starting in London in early 2020. Lucy’s background combines startup business with over a decade of technology policy and regulation. She has held roles at award-winning British startups including SwiftKey, GeoSpock and Cucumber as well as the boards of Ada – the National College for Digital Skills; TravelSpirit Foundation (mobility innovation); HackTrain (innovation in the rail industry); and the City of London Transport Strategy Board. She is a Fellow of the RSA and a Non Executive Director at (hardware acceleration) and the Institute for Ethical AI and Machine Learning.
